GroFin PROVIDES FINANCE SOLUTION TO SMEs IN AFRICA



GroFin is a pioneering development financier specializing in financing and supporting small and growing businesses (SGBs) across Africa and the Middle East. They have 14 offices in 13 countries across Africa and the Middle East, employing more than 130 employees. The fund aims to catalyse sustainable job creation through supporting small and growing businesses in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, South Africa and Egypt as well support over 9,800 underserved entrepreneurs and help create 47,000 sustainable jobs across Africa over the next 10 years. A business wanting to start or expand can access between US$100,000 to US$1.5 million which can be repaid in 2 to 6 years.

Grofin will support entrepreneurs or business owners that are committed to, and involved in, all aspects of their business and have the relevant skills, knowledge, experience and/or track record to run their business. They support businesses that are locally owned and managed with a proven (or projected) ability to generate ‘free’ cash flow i.e. enough cash flow to service all debt obligations while generating wealth for the owners. They also look for business where our business support will add value to, and benefit, the business.
