TEEP is an acronym for Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme. It is a flagship entrepreneurship programme of Tony Elumelu Foundation, founded by entrepreneur, Tony O. Elumelu for African entrepreneurs. The vision of TEEP is to establish the pre-eminent pan-African entrepreneurship programme and create 10,000 start-ups across Africa within the next 10 years that generate significant employment and wealth. The annual programme is open to budding entrepreneur having compelling businesses with strong market feasibility, clear financial models and run by capable teams.
Application portal opens for entries, January 1 and will accept applications until Midnight WAT on March 1. Successful applicants who complete the programme will receive $5,000 as non-returnable seed capital investment, and are eligible for $5,000 in form of either debt or equity, depending on business need and other criteria.

Start-ups will also be in the position to attract investors given that they have not only been ‘TEEP certified’ and displayed on the world stage, but they have viable business plans and truly transformative and implementable ideas!
Selected entrepreneurs will join the existing cohort of 1,000 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurs, from 51 countries, who formed the inaugural 2015 cycle of the programme and have thus far, received considerable benefits from their participation, including:
