The
Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan has put up a vocational
training in selected area of agriculture to empower unemployed youths, agripreneurs,
literate farmers, retirees and other interested individuals. The college of
Agriculture is the first agricultural education and training institution in
Nigeria and West Africa founded in 1921. The institution has trained numerous agricultural
personnel in Nigeria and Africa.
In
line with the Agricultural Development vision of the Federal Government of Nigeria,
the College will conduct Free Vocational Training in selected areas of
Agriculture. The training is aimed at imparting knowledge of modem techniques
and cost effective methods of agricultural production on the participants as
well as promote self-employment and wealth creation.
The
programme will feature lectures, tutorials, discussions, and field practical
sessions coupled with counseling in practical application of entrepreneurial
skills. Applicants will only be trained in one of the following options;
- Use
and Maintenance of Agricultural Machinery,
- Cassava
Processing and Utilization,
- Poultry
Production
- Fish
Production
- Local
and Exotic Vegetable Production,
- Modern
Beekeeping and honey Production.
Interested
participants must be able to read and write in English Language!!!!

Participants
could obtain an application form (free of charge) from the Registry of the
Federal College Agriculture, Ibadan or fill an online form HERE.
Completed
application forms MUST be submitted online or to the College Registry within
two week. Admission is limited and strictly on First Come, First Serve Basis. Those
who have attended the college previous training programmes need not apply.
